ITS focuses on both theoretical & practical knowledge: Pravej Ahmed

Since childhood I had a love for machinery. I always wanted to understand how a machine works. I always used to carry a screw driver with me and tried my hand in repairing all the machineries.  Sometimes it was successful and sometimes it was disastrous. Also, due to this habit, I used to get a lot of scolding. But it always brought a joy to my heart and a smile on my face. My parents and I always knew that I would become a Mechanical Engineer. At the same time I always wanted to go for the college that would not solely focuses on theoretical base but also provide a practical approach to work. I am really thankful to my college ITS Engineering College, Greater Noida, as their pedagogy is not confined to bookish knowledge. I was always passionate about practical learning of concepts. 

ITS Engineering College has proved to be a one stop solution for me. They focus on hands on approach and other practical learning techniques. They have a “Centre of Excellence”, consisting of different labs for imparting trainings. The teachers are welcoming and cordial. The medium of teaching is English. The teachers do not restrict to the monotonous classroom teaching to impart knowledge to students. The college organises multiple events such as inter college competitions, seminars and quizzes etc. to boost the confidence of the students and develop their overall personality. 

The faculty at the college is always focused to make us ready for the corporate sector. They make the students realise that how important it is for students to have excellent communication skills. They always taught us that no matter how good idea you hold, but if it can’t be explained clearly then it becomes worthless. We were trained on our presentation skills as well. They made a point to train us on our aptitude and soft skills. The perfect blend of technical and theoretical knowledge has made us at par with industrial standards. I will be lifelong thankful to all my teachers for their continuous support and encouragement. 

The CRC department of college is very dedicated and effective when it comes to placement. I would like to express my sincere thanks to the CRC department. Now I have been placed at Arihant Duraplast Pvt. Ltd., which is regarded as one of the most prominent manufacturers and traders of Seating Systems, Automotive Seating System, SWM Products and Material Handling. 

During last four years, it was a wonderful journey with the ITS. The college provides an atmosphere that helps one learn, grow and explore.
