With the rise in COVID-19 cases, TS EAMCET 2020 including all other CETs have been postponed by Telangana Government. Check details below.

Telangana government has decided to postpone all the Common Entrance Examinations (CETs) including TS EAMCET (Telangana State Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test) 2020 examination. However, official notification related to the postponement of TS EAMCET 2020 exam is yet to released by the authorities. This major decision was taken due to the rise in Coronavirus cases across the state and country.

Hyderabad High Court’s had questioned the State Government over holding the exams when the statewide lockdown was extended in the wake of rising COVID-19 cases. Also, the High court was hearing a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) filed by NSUI seeking postponement of all the entrance examinations.

In response to this, the Telangana Government has filed an affidavit in the High Court confirming the postponement of all TS CETs and other state-level examinations.

TS EAMCET 2020 was scheduled to be conducted from July 6 to 9 in two sessions. The admit card of TS EAMCET 2020 is scheduled to be released on June 30, 2020. Candidates have to take a printout of admit card along with the self-declaration on the exam day.
