This is because the eligible candidates already have the basic foundational knowledge of the subject from their prior relevant qualifications and so they can directly start studying in the second year of the B.Tech. The eligibility is:

1. The candidate should have passed a Diploma in Engineering or any equivalent course from a reputed University.
2. The candidates who are waiting for the results of the Diploma.
