Candidates applying for BTech at Shri Krishna University must be Class 12 or equivalent examination pass. The in detail eligibility criteria for BTech courses is as follows:

• Class 12 pass with Physics/ Chemistry/ Mathematics and other relevant subjects and secured a minimum of 45% aggregate (40% for reserved categories).
• OR Passed a minimum of a three-year Diploma with at least 45% aggregate (40% for reserved categories). However, it is subject to vacancies in the first year, in case the vacancies at lateral entry are exhausted.

The Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech/BE/B.Sc Engineering) is a degree awarded by universities to students who have completed four years (eight semesters) worth of coursework related to a specific branch of engineering. Most colleges operate on semester basis i.e each year corresponds to two semesters. Eligibility for entry is 10+2 years of school education. Generally the first year (first two semesters) is common to all branches, and has the same subjects of study. Courses divert after first year. The medium of instruction and examination is English and IES is affiliated to RGPV university. IES offers engineering in various branches like: computer science, civil, fire technology, electronics and telecommunication, electrical engineering, chemical engineering. Including all the streams in BTech the number of seats available are around 1700-1800.

The eligibility criteria for LNCT University BTech CSE course is that candidates should have passed Class 12 with PCM from a recognised board. Moreover, the selection process include a valid score in JEE Main. The duration of the course is for four years. Eligible students can apply online by visiting the official website.

If candidates are applying for BTech at AKS University through lateral entry, then they will have to commit to a three-year-long programme with the course material spanning over six semesters. Candidates who have a polytechnic diploma can apply for the lateral entry BTech.

Candidates need to have a polytechnic diploma in the same specialisation as the BTech specialisation that they want to apply. If candidates want to apply for BTech without lateral entry, then they’ll have to commit to a four-year-long course which spans over eight semesters.
