Students can choose any specialisation according to their intrests. The final cut off will be released according to the seat intake and applications. Different departments of BTech will have different cut offs. 

Candidates are offered seat in School of Engineering and Technology BTech based on JEE Main, CUET, SAT or BMU Aptitude Test score. A minimum of 60 percentile in JEE Main is required for BTech admission. Besides, candidates also need to pass Class 12 in relevant subjects with at least 60% aggregate can apply for School of Engineering and Technology BTech programme.

Yes, PIET (Panipat Institute of Engineering and Technology) accepts JEE Mains for admission to the B.Tech program. Admissions to B.Tech are based on valid scores of JEE Main. PIET also offers admission to 25% of its seats through the management quota, which does not require JEE Mains. However, for most of the seats, JEE Mains is required for admission to the B.Tech programme at PIET.
