VJTI follows the guidelines laid down by MHT-CET for student enrollment in their BTech course. According to MHT-CET, the eligibility for admission to BTech at Veermata Jijajbai Technological Institute (VJTI), the candidate should have passed class 12 or SSC or a Diploma in engineering with at least 45% aggregate.

Candidates interested in the BTech course of VJTI should prepare well for the MHT-CET entrance exam because only those students who have scored well and whose rank lie within the range specified by the college are eligible for further counselling and seat confirmation.
