Yes, Galgotias University inducts candidates for the majority of its courses based on marks in the qualifying examinations. For admission to the UG programmes across various specialisations at Galgotias University candidates will get selected based on their marks in class 12 as the qualifying examination for UG courses is class 12. RGIPT Amethi generally offer admission in Diploma courses based on scores in RGIPT Diploma Admission Test (DAT), conducted by the college itself. However, vacant seats are filled on the basis of marks obtained in Class 10, with Math and Science as compulsory subjects. 

Paper 1 has 75 questions where Physics Chemistry and Mathematics, each section has 25 questions. Out of 25 questions, 20 are MCQs and five are numerical value questions.
