Telangana University, Nizamabad, Telangana was established in 2006. It is accredited by NAAC with “B’ grade. It is the third largest University in Telangana State. The university offers 26 courses. It has three campuses, Main Campus, South Campus, Bhiknoor and Sarangapur Campus. Telangana University, Nizamabad offers UG and PG courses in various specialisations.
The University offers UG courses like BCA, LLB and B. Ed along with PG courses. the University offers master's degree in Arts, Commerce, Science, Social Science, and Computer Science. The admission process of Telangana University is based on the TUCET/OU Common Entrance Test (Conducted by the Osmania University, Hyderabad) rank and eligibility criteria subject to the rule of reservation. The University strictly follows the rule of reservation as per the government norms and ensures strict adherence to the reservations into various categories. In every course of study, 85% of the available seats are reserved in favor of the local candidates from the districts of Nizamabad and Adilabad. After the exam for acceptance is completed and the results are out, the form can be filled online or offline for admission in TU University. According to the Telangana University Overall NIRF report 2024, the median package offered during UG 3-year and PG 2-year placements 2023 stood at INR 2.5 LPA and INR 1.5 LPA. Further, out of total 48 students, 5 students were placed and 5 students opted for higher studies during UG 3-year placements 2023. Further, as per the Management NIRF report 2024, the median package offered during MBA and LLB placements 2023 stood at INR 2 LPA and INR 4.8 LPA. Further, out of total 16 students, 10 students were placed during MBA placements 2023.
