Diploma in Bakery and Patisserie Arts - Batch of 2021
3.0
International Institute Of Culinary Arts, New Delhi is good for the basics, bad for expectations.
Placements: College offers no placements. We had 7 students in the advanced diploma in confectionery and patisserie. You get the job on the condition that you can give it a try. It's not a maintained temperature to work with chocolate, but good for basics. It also depends on how much time you're willing to give there.
Infrastructure: Accommodation is not provided, you have to hassle to get the wi-fi password. It has no mess, no canteen. The building does not have any reception. The human resource people are not all competent at their jobs. The syllabus is very good in terms of covering bread and desserts.
Faculty: Teachers are extremely fine and very knowledgeable. The exams are held by the internationally recognized city and guilds. The advanced diploma program has subjective exams which require proper preparation. The theoretical knowledge comes in extremely handy during an interview.
Other: International Institute Of Culinary Arts, New Delhi provides basic ideas and knowledge. It teaches the basics of the work, not the pressure that is given in hotels and bakeries. A Diwali party is held along with a monthly student of the month program.
