 The University of Mumbai (MU) releases multiple merit lists every year followed by a counselling and document verification process to offer admission to students in MU-affiliated colleges. Mumbai University merit list are released for admission to more than 750 affiliated colleges in programmes such as FYBA, FYBSWA, FYBCom, FYBSc, FYBMS, FYBVoc, FYB Library Science and FYBPA. These merit lists University carries the names of students who are shortlisted on the basis of marks they have obtained in their last qualifying examinations. For Kelkar Education Trust's V.G.Vaze College of Arts, Science and Commerce 2026 admission, the first round cutoff percentage ranged between 40 and 88.17 for the students belonging to the General AI quota. The required percentile would depend on which category you belong to and which course you have chosen. H.R. College of Commerce and Economics cutoff 2026 was released for the 2nd round for several AI quota categories. 

For the General AI category, the round 2 cutoff varied from 75.33 to 95. So, a percentile of at least 75.33 is required for admission to this college. As per this range, the most sought-after courses were B.Com. in Financial Market, followed by Bachelor in Accounting and Finance and Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.), with the cutoffs of 95, 94 and 94, respectively.
