Chandigarh University is mainly concerned with streams such as Engineering, Management, Science, etc. The university offers BTech and MBA programmes as the popular programmes. They are offered for a duration of 4 and 2 years, respectively. 

The Oberoi Group of Hotels, Taj Group of Hotels, Lemon Tree Hotels, ITC Group of Hotels, Haldiram Chayyos, Reliance Jio Mart, Bloom Hotels, Reliance Retail Limited, Marriott Hotel, and Domino's are the top recruiters who visited the Institute of Hotel Management IHM Gurdaspur during the 2022 placement. The placement report for 2023 has not yet released by the institute. On the other hand, according to the annual report 2022, 122 BSc students received 197 employment offers, while 84 students were put as management trainees. During the placement drive, a number of prestigious recruiters, including CCD, ITC, and the Taj Group of Hotels, visited the IHM Gurdaspur campus.

Having done my graduation and post-graduation from PCTE, I can honestly tell that PCTE Group of Institutes, Ludhiana is an amazing college as it left no stone unturned to help me develop my overall personality. PCTE offered me a practical learning environment and I was able to acquire the skills necessary to bridge the gap from a student to a professional The college was established in the year 1999 and is affiliated to Punjab Technical University. Since then, it has continued to excel in the field of education. It has been awarded 30 national & international awards of repute and has been making it to the list of top-ranked colleges by various national magazines and journals, including Outlook, Business India, AIMA, etc. We were involved in multiple activities like games, exercises, workshops like RAWAR, Consumer Hub to name a few. Even the fees of the college are very reasonable as PCTE has been awarded 2nd & 9th Best College on an ROI basis by Outlook Magazine and is recognised by the state government University. So, this was my honest review of the college.

CT University is not hard to get, provided the majority of courses consider 45% to 50% of aggregate in Class 12. For majority of PG level programmes, candidates must secure a minimum aggregate of 50% in graduation. Apart from this, candidates must obtain a valid score in CTSET which is the University conducted exam for majority of courses provided by it. 

The NIRF ranking at RMIT University is way below at 169 out of 171 across India. All recruiters keep track of this and then only select students. As a result, the median salary package is around INR3L. In addition, considering the total number of students studying across different courses and those who opt for placement, this institution is able to place very less number of students. If you are intending to take admission based on this criteria then better skip this place.
