Candidates must have passed Class 12 with English as one of the subjects. For IHM Pusa admission to the BSc HHA course, the age limit is 25 for General and OBC categories, while for the SC and ST categories, the limit is 28. 

The admission procedure for degree programmes (BSc & MSc) at IHM Pusa is entrance exam-based. Hence, aspirants are required to have a valid score of NCHMCT JEE. For Diploma courses, it considers merit in the qualifying examination. Thus, candidates are admitted based on their aggregate in Class 12. The Institute of Hotel Management, Catering & Nutrition Delhi admit candidates to BSc and MSc programme based on NCHMCT JEE score. The institute does not conduct any in-house entrance exam for the current courses. Selection list is created for BSc based on the applicants NCHMCT JEE score and for MSc based on NCHM MSc JEE exam score.
