This college provides amazing placements, but think again if you would rather seek expertise.
Placements: They do have a high placement percentage. Most candidates who attended interviews got placed and secured jobs. The salary package offered is quite low. Some companies offer high salary packages, especially for sales jobs.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good, but our college lacks some amenities. The hostel, cafeteria, etc., are not spacious. There are fewer kitchens than required. A new kitchen is under construction and might be ready by the next year.
Faculty: Faculty members are great. The curriculum should change as there should be a specialisation in the third year, which can enable students to have more expertise in the major they are looking forward to having a career in. They should also introduce a major for those who are interested in mixology or sommelierry.

Review of IHM Delhi - Institute of Hotel Management, Catering & Nutrition.
Placements: All hotel brands visit our college with their MT program for placements. Our college provides detailed opportunities in retail, marketing, and sales profiles. Many students got placed in our college.
Infrastructure: All facilities are sported out because it is an old institute. They are trying to improve and update the infrastructure. New machines and equipment are being purchased for better understanding of the subject.
Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified, but they don't motivate us. A few teachers teach us beyond the syllabus and things that are needed in the industry. F&B service mam invites brands like Monin and well-known bartenders.
Other: The infrastructure and placement policy should be improved. They don't organise a fest or annual day. A few events are held in our college.

All about IHM PUSA, you need to know .
Placements: The placement percentage last year was 98.7%. The highest package was 9.5 LPA and the lowest package was 2.5 LPA. The top recruiters were Sodexo, Zomato, IHCL, ITC Hotels, and JW Marriott. 100% of my batch got internships at IHCL, ITC hotels, Marriott International, Hayat, Hilton, Radisson and many more. The top roles offered were management trainee, area manager and many more .
Infrastructure: The infrastructure over all is good but the down side is since it is the oldest IHM, the infrastructure lags in my modern equipment. And the condition of the classroom is average. The faculty is very highly educated; most of the faculty hold Ph.D. degrees, mostly in hospitality sector and almost every faculty member has industry experience. But on the contrary, the old faculty is more focused on theory than on practical. The hostels are old and need repair. The food served in the college mess is below average. There is no such thing as a medical facility. There are annual sports events held in college every year on the Commonwealth Games grounds.
Faculty: The faculty is very highly educated; most of the faculty hold Ph.D. degrees, mostly in hospitality sector and almost every faculty member has industry experience. But on the contrary, the old faculty is more focused on theory than on practical. The course curriculum is very relevant. It makes the students industry-ready and more than capable of taking on the position offered by different companies at the end of the course. The semester exams are not at all difficult compared to other courses; they're quite easy. You can easily crack the semester-end exam by studying one night prior to the exam. The passing percentage is 40%.
Other: I chose the hospitality industry because I am passionate about serving people and making them feel welcome. I enjoy interacting with people from all walks of life and helping them have a positive experience. I also have strong communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills. I am confident that my skills and abilities would make me a valuable asset to your team.

Our college had good placements in 2023.
Placements: Our college provides equal opportunities to all students. Many students got placed in our college. The highest salary package offered is 7 LPA. Many companies visit our college to recruit students. Top recruiting companies are IHCL, Taj, Oberoi Hotels, ITC Group, Marriott, Growisto, Taj Seats, etc. Many students got placed in these companies. Top roles offered are managerial and supervisory levels.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good. Our college is spread over a huge area. Our college is equipped with high-quality facilities including hostels, an auditorium, and a basketball court. The food served in the mess is good. We have a bakery shop.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified, knowledgeable, and experienced. The question paper is the same all over India. The pass percentage has been increased from 33-40%. The curriculum is relevant and accurately gives theoretical and practical knowledge for the hotel industry.
Other: It is a skill-based course. It requires knowledge and skills in four departments including food production, front office, FNB service, and housekeeping.

I am not satisfied with this college.
Placements: The highest salary package offered by Growisto is 7.5 LPA. Many hotel chains visited our college to recruit students but offered low salary packages. Our college has a one-job policy. If you get selected by any companies, you will be disqualified from all other companies, including hotels and corporate sectors.
Infrastructure: There is a lot of development in the kitchen department, but the F&B department is still lacking in many aspects.
Faculty: Our faculty members are not good. They will be 30-40 minutes late for the class. The attendance will never be updated. They provide less practical knowledge. They never teach us how to make cocktails in practical classes, even though it is a part of the curriculum. They teach us very less. They tell us to move furniture from one place to the other.
