Guru Nanak Institute of Hotel Management (GNIHM) was founded in 2005 in Kolkata, West Bengal. It is affiliated with the West Bengal University of Technology and the National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology.
The institute conducts its application process offline. Eligibility for direct admission is granted to candidates who have secured a rank in the NCHMCT JEE.
For admission to undergraduate and postgraduate programs, the institute considers the results of the JET examination, which it conducts. JET is an objective type entrance test comprising 120 questions with no negative marking. Admission selection is based on the performance in this examination.
