University of Calicut is a good university. Calicut University, also known as The University of Calicut, is a state-private university that was established in 1968 in Calicut. Calicut University has been ranked 69 under the University category by the NIRF in 2022. It is recognised by the UGC and is approved by the AICTE. It is accredited with an "A" Grade by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council. Admissions are open for various courses for 2023 and the accepted entrance exams are KEAM, CMAT, CUCAT, and others. Kannur University offers a Diploma in Tulu which is a one-year course. The course duration is further divided into two semesters. The university conducts classes for the programme on only on Saturdays. Over one year, there are 200 teaching hours in total. The medium of instruction and examination is Kannada. The course curriculum includes learning about the history and literature of Tulu. It also includes a project work which can be carried out as field work or desk work. A written project/document must be submitted to the University at the end of the second semester. The project is evaluated by an external examiner.

Q:   What entrance exam scores does Sree Sankaracharya University of Sanskrit accept for admission to MA?
A: 

Sree Sankaracharya University of Sanskrit (SSUS) accepts entrance exam scores for admission to MA programs. The university also conducts aptitude and practical tests for some programs. 

For the academic year 2023-2024, the university conducted the entrance exam in April or May. The following programs were available: 

  • MA Museology
  • MA Comparative Literature and Linguistics
  • MA Dance (Bharathanatyam)
  • MA Sanskrit General

Other programs include: M.Sc, M.S.W, MFA, MPES, PG Diploma. 

Admission to the 2-year Master of Fine Arts Degree Program requires the following:
