• Graduates who have passed the qualifying examination in CBCS Pattern-2013 admission onwards (BSc in relevant subjects) with at least 5.5 CGPA out of 10 (2.2 CGPA out of 4 for graduates who have passed qualifying examination in CBCS Pattern-prior to 2013) can apply for Kerala University MSc.
• Graduates who have passed qualifying examination (BSc) in annual scheme/ other pattern with at least 55% aggregate can also apply.

University of Calicut is a good university. Calicut University, also known as The University of Calicut, is a state-private university that was established in 1968 in Calicut. Calicut University has been ranked 69 under the University category by the NIRF in 2022. It is recognised by the UGC and is approved by the AICTE. It is accredited with an "A" Grade by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council. Admissions are open for various courses for 2023 and the accepted entrance exams are KEAM, CMAT, CUCAT, and others. However, as per the university NIRF report 2025, the median package offered during MG University PG 2-year placements in 2024 stood at INR 5.5 LPA.
