Established in 1987, Kuvempu University is a state public university. Kuvempu University has more than 59 departments that collectively offer more than 80 courses at UG, PG, and doctoral levels. The university is an affiliating university established by the act of the Karnataka State Legislature. Christ University offers seats to candidates based on entrance exam score of the candidates.
