Central University of Karnataka accepts the Central University Entrance Test (CUET) scores followed by counselling for admission to its various UG courses. To be eligible for admission to CUK, candidates are required to register and appear for CUET. In 2023, the university released the final scores for various UG courses as tabulated below:

CUK Karnataka offers BSc for 3 years to 5 years in full-time mode on the basis of merit. The University offers the respective course in various specialisations at the total tuition fees ranging from INR 48K to INR 60K. Admission to CUK Karnataka is offered on the basis of 50% minimum aggregate in Class 12. In addition to this, candidates must secure valid scores in accepted entrance exams such as KCET/JEE Main or other equivalent examinations.

The Central University of Karnataka counselling process begin after the releasing of CUET UG results on the official website of CUET. After the result declaration, the counselling is solely conducted by the university itself. To proceed for counselling process, candidates are required to fill an online application form on the online admission protal of CUK. CUK Karnataka is a government university, established in 2009. The University offers courses at the UG, PG, and Doctoral level in 6 major fields, within the campus of 654 acres. It is NAAC accredited with grade of B+ and is UGC recognised. The University offers the respective courses through 10+ constituent Schools. 

Central University of Karnataka LLM is a PG level course offered for the duration of 2 years. CUK Karnataka offers LLM with a total tuition fee worth INR 36K. The University offers admission to LLM on the basis of merit, therefore, candidates must secure a minimum aggregate of 50% in graduation and secure a valid score in accepted entrance exams such as CUET-PG.

Candidates applying for UG courses through CUET at CUK Karnataka can get admission with a score of 70. Admissions at Central University of Karnataka (CUK) are mostly entrance-based, except for some courses. For most of the UG and PG programs, you need to appear for the Central Universities Common Entrance Test (CUET), which is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for admission to 12 central universities.

For B.Tech and M.Tech programs, you need to have valid JEE Main and GATE scores, respectively. For PhD programs, you need to qualify for a written entrance test and a personal interview conducted by CUK. You also need to meet the eligibility criteria of the course, such as having a minimum percentage of marks in the qualifying exam. The Central University of Karnataka does not provide a direct 100% scholarship to students. There are multiple scholarship opportunities available for students like National Overseas Scholarship and Pre-Matric Scholarship for Minorities of Karnataka but the university itself does not offer a 100% scholarship.

The eligibility criteria for scholarships at the Central University of Karnataka include being a Karnataka student belonging to categories such as SC/ST, OBC, Minorities, and EWS. Students must apply through the State Scholarship Portal of the Government of Karnataka.

As per the Central University of Karnataka cutoff 2023, the closing score for M.A. in English is 288, which is the highest score of all the PG courses. The next the highest score is 260 for M.Sc. in Psychology, followed by M.Sc. in Applied Geology at 229 for the General category students belonging to All India Quota. For BTech, CUK is accepting both CUET-UG and JEE scores. For the courses BTech in Electronics and Communication and BTech in Electrical Engineering, 50% of seats will be filled on merit in the NTA-CUET (UG)-2023. The remaining 50% of the seats will be filled on the basis of performance in JEE–Main Exam (2023) who are eligible for writing JEE–Advanced 2022.

Admission to UG courses is based on CUET scores. Only the students with a valid scores can register on the CUK-Samarth UG admission portal. After the CUET result declaration, students need to register on the university admission portal. Then a list of eligible students is released following which grievances are accepted. Then a provisional selection list is released with the names of all the students that can take admission. If seats are left vacant, then a second list will be released. Further, students can confirm their seats by paying the first-semester fee.

CUK Karnataka offers MBA as a 2 year PG level course in full-time mode. Admission to the respective course is offered on the basis of merit and accepted entrance exams such as Karnataka PGCET, CUET-PG or other equivalent examinations. The University offers respective course based on the total tuition fees ranging from INR 40K to INR 1.2 Lakh. Apart from this, candidates must secure a minimum aggregate of 50% in graduation.
