No, candidates are not allowed to get direct admissions into BA courses at Kumaun University. Kuman University is a state-public university that does not offer direct admissions to BA courses; candidates are required to qualify for the merit list, which the university releases on the basis of candidates' achieved scores in their higher senior secondary. However, there are chances that some of the university-affiliated colleges offer direct/ management admissions to BA courses. Himalayan Garhwal University (MAHGU) offers a BA in various specialisations. The tuition fee payable for various specialisations ranges between INR 36,500 and INR 90,500 for three years. In addition to the tuition fees, candidates may be required to pay additional one-time charges.
