Mystory@Neha: What I gained from my college years

Mystory@Neha

I have just completed my post-graduation from one of the Central Universities. It is a general assumption that we go to any institution just to gain knowledge but the fact is when we go to any educational institute like school or college, we create another sphere that is completely our own. We make friends, meet teachers, undergo exam pressure and do many other things all by ourselves. We step into the vast world to create our own Identity. Thus, what I want to say is that the place where we acquire academic knowledge also teaches us many other rules to rule the world.

My friends at college used to call me drama-queen though I am not a dramatic person but yes it can be said that the name was their love for me.

The days that we spend in our college are the most awesome and memorable days. I belong to Arts background and as we know literature is the reflection of the society. Thus, during my PG, I got even more inclined and keen in understanding the society more closely and all this happened because of the awesome set of faculty I had, they helped me then and they help me now also.

Thinking about hostel life, I end up going back in time to those memories, thinking about which makes me feel very happy. Living in a hostel brings us face-to-face with many ups and downs in life. It also prepares us to face the world which is full of various kinds of people.
