Amrita School of Arts and Sciences is a part of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham and is approved by UGC (University Grants Commission). Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham Mysore is accredited with A+ Grade by NAAC (National Assessment and Accreditation Council). 1. The *KCET (Karnataka Common Entrance Test)* KCET is a single entrance test for admission to a variety of professional degrees in Karnataka, including engineering. It is administered by the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA).

2. *COMEDK UGET:* The Undergraduate Entrance Test (UGET), another entrance test approved by UVCE for engineering admissions, is administered by the Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK).

The UVCE and other engineering institutions in Karnataka are ranked and admission eligibility is usually determined by these entrance tests. The specific admission examinations that are allowed may change depending on the rules and regulations of the college for that particular academic year.

Presidency University is a private university in Yelahanaka, Bangalore. The University is ranked 101-125 in national ranking & 201-300 in worldwide ranking by THE World University Rankings 2026. The highest package offered during 2025 placements was INR 16.42 LPA. Top companies like Federal Bank, Accenture, Deloitte, DHL, Ecolab, Mphasis, HCL, EY, Nestle, etc. took part in the placement drive. In short it is a good university in terms of placements, rankings, faculty & infrastructure.

Both the AP LAWCET and CLAT entrance exam are conducted for admission to the Law schools in India, however, the syllabus for these exams are different on many parameters and candidates should strategise differently for both the exams. AP LAWCET exam has sections including Current Affairs, Legal Aptitude, Contract Law, Constitution, etc. and the CLAT entrance exam sections include English Language, Legal Aptitude, Mathematics, etc. AP LAWCET does not have mathematics subjects, AP LAWCET exam focus more on regional knowledge. CLAT generally covers the deeper aspects of the particular subject. 

The cut offs for 2026 are not out yet & will be updated once they are out. The cut off is different for diff. courses. The cut off is released on the basis of availability of seats & the level of completion. Once the student has cleared the cut off of a particular course, he/she moves for the further process of admission.

NMIT Bangalore reserves 2% seats for candidates with JEE Main score of at least 75. JEE category aspirants are eigible for Merit Scholarship seats, provided they score a minimum of 85 NTA score and not less than 80% aggregate in PCM in Class 12. The ranking is based on JEE Main NTA score.

Yenepoya University is a private university and is a constituent unit of Yenepoya (Deemed to be University) located in Hennur, Bangalore.
