Candidates who have completed their Class 12 from a recognised board and have the required aptitude for the chosen programme are eligible to apply to BVBFTS. All full-time UG Diploma programs offered by the department are of one-year duration. The admission procedure involves a personal visit to the office to deposit the application form, followed by an interview where the candidate's look, appearance, and determination for a career in the media industry are judged. After the interview, the candidate has to appear for an entrance test for which they have to pay the required registration fee and collect the admission test entry ticket. The first list of selected candidates will be displayed on the website within ten days of the admission test. If selected, the candidate has to pay the first installment of the fee within the specified time to confirm their admission.
