To cover these sections candidates need to read newspapers, read magazines pertaining to the current affairs and stay updated with trending topics of atleast the last 6 months. No, GMCET is conducted once every month between March to October. However, the schedule may change, hence, candidates are advised to visit official website for latest updates.

The GMEC has not yet made any official announcement related to the exam dates for GMCET 2026 exam. However, it is expected to begin in the last week of July 2026. The mode of entrance test is online. Students will get one hour to complete the exam.

Can I pay the application fee online?

The GMCET application form has been released in online mode. Candidates can now pay the application fee of the GMCET application form in online mode only. In order to make the payment, they will have to use their Debit card/Credit/Net banking/UPI, etc. There are no offline means to make the application fee payment, nor there is any demand draft medium. Candidates should also refrain from any websites, or persons pertaining to being GMCET officials and asking for fee payment. They must only rely on the official website - gmcet.org and their official payment merchants to pay the application fee.
