The Ministry of Human Resource of India every year releases a list of best MBA colleges in the country. While most of the IIMs and other top colleges capture top ranks, there are other well known colleges that find a place in the list owing to their facilities, exemplary faculty and A-grade Infrastructure and successful placement record.

While passing out of an IIM may be the ultimate dream of every MBA student, there must be a realization of the fact that the world doesn’t end with the IIMs. There are several other colleges that provide quality education in the field of management and ensure a secure future too.

The colleges are ranked on the basis of five basic parameters-

  • Teaching, Learning and Resource
  • Research and Professional Practice
  • Graduation Outcomes

  • Perception

These parameters have been assigned overall weight of 100 marks and further divided into sub-heads, including student-teacher ratio, placement metric, peer perception, competitiveness etc.

Indian Institute Of Forest Management, Bhopal-Rank 8

The Indian Institute of Forest Management is ranked no 8 on the NIRF’s ranking list (2016) on the basis of a healthy faculty-student ratio and quality of the faculty. The college also promises decent placement offers with Rs 6.4 lakh as the highest pay package offered in 2015.

Started in 2008, Rajagiri Business School has done exceptionally well in the last eight years to be ranked 37 in the NIRF ranking list for 2016. The data of last four years, shows almost same number of female students a male students pursuing PGP course from the institute.

In 2012-2013, out of 119 students, 69 were male and 50 were female. In 2013-2014, out of 111 total students 61 were male and 50 were female. In 2014-2015, out of 161 total students 94 were male and 67 female.
