Popular MBA Institutes Accepting TSICET Score in Telangana

Some of the top universities in Telangana accept TS ICET scores for MBA admission. These universities have several affiliated colleges that accept TS ICET scores. 

Telangana University

Telangana University offers a full-time course for the Master of Business Administration. Admissions to MBA courses are based on the following areas-

1. Candidates should have passed a full-time Bachelor’s Degree from a recognised college with a minimum aggregate of 50 per cent for the general category and 45 per cent for the reserved category.
2. Candidates in their final year of Graduation can apply on provisional grounds, and candidates who have obtained graduation through distance mode are eligible for admission. In this case, the qualifying degree must be approved by UGC, AICTE and DEC/DEB.
3. Valid TSICET 2026 score/rank

Nishitha Degree College, Nizamabad

It is an affiliated college with Telangana University and also an AICTE-approved college, offering a full-time MBA course programme. The competition level to get into this college is slightly steep. Keeping this in mind, Students interested in admission to Nishitha Degree College must score high on the TSICET exam. Kakatiya University

The total number of seats available in this university is 60. Eligibility criteria for admissions to MBA course offered by Kakatiya University are-

1. The candidate should have a full-time graduation degree with not less than 50 per cent marks for general category students and 45 per cent for the reserved category from a recognised college.
2. If they are in their final year of degree examination, candidates will be given admission only on provisional grounds.
3. Candidates holding a qualifying degree through distance mode will be given admission, provided the degree is recognised by UGC, AICTE and DEC/DEB.
4. Valid TSICET score/ rank

Courses: The University offers a wide range of courses in the management stream. Some courses are- MBA in Sales and Marketing, MBA in Digital Marketing, MBA in Human Resources, MBA in Finance, MBA in NGO management, MBA in Business Analytics and many more.

JNT University, Hyderabad (JNTU-H)

The University offers an MBA programme in collaboration with Central Michigan University, USA. The cut-off for admission to this university is higher than other TSICET participating colleges. JNTU-affiliated colleges include Sreenidhi Institute of Science and Technology (SNIST), National Institute of Tourism and Hospitality Management, CMR College of Engineering and Technology, Vardhaman College of Engineering, Bhoj Reddy Engineering College for Women and others.

Eligibility criteria for admissions to JNTU, Hyderabad are graduation from a recognised university, securing the minimum cut-off marks, TSICET score/rank and clear University Entrance Test.

Courses: MBA in HR (Human Resource), International Business, NGO Management, Import and export and others.

Osmania University

The University offers a full-time two-year MBA programme. It consists of four semesters, covering 28 courses. Even the affiliated colleges of Osmania University, such as University College of Commerce & Business Management, Badruka College Post Graduate Centre, Chaitanya Bharathi Institute of Technology, David Memorial Business School and others offer MBA courses in a full-time mode.

Courses: Students can major in four areas, namely Finance, Human Resources Management, Marketing and Information Systems.

TGICET Counselling Process

Candidates securing ranks after the release of TG ICET results will be marked eligible to participate in the Telangana MBA admission process. During the counselling process, candidates are required to exercise options where they need to choose a course and a college preference. Candidates who know the TS ICET rank-wise colleges have a better chance of an allotment in the first phase of the ICET counselling.

The TG ICET 2026 counselling process begins with counselling registration, followed by the payment of the processing fee, and slot booking for certificate verification. Once these preliminary steps are complete, candidates must undergo in-person certificate verification before they can begin exercising options. After the allotment of seats is finalised, the process concludes with the payment of the tuition fee as mentioned in the TS ICET allotment order.

Besides the centralised counselling process, Telangana MBA colleges will also conduct category B admissions for candidates aiming for management quota. B-Category seats are legal management quota seats in private colleges of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
