JNTUH admissions are open. A few more updates are as follows:
- The TG ICET 2026 registration will tentatively start in March 2026 for admission to MBA and MCA courses, and the exam will be conducted on May 13, 2026 & May 14, 2026.
- The GATE 2026 exam for admission to Phd course will be conducted from Feb 7, 2026 to Feb 8, 2026, and then from Feb 14, 2026 to Feb 15, 2026.
- The AP EAPCET application form 2026 will tentatively be available in March 2026 for admission to BTech and BPharma courses.

JNTU Hyderabad Highlights 2025
Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad is a Public Technological University located in Hyderabad. The institute was founded in 1972 as the first Technological University of India. Commonly asked questions On Fees and Eligibility
At Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU) in Hyderabad, one needs to fulfill one of the following requirements in order to be eligible for a free seat:
1) Category for the SC/ST: The annual income of your parents shall not exceed 2.5 lakhs.
2) Rank: A rank of less than 10,000 is required.
3) General category: You have to fall between 100 and 110.
4) Reserved category: 500 is the minimum rank required.
JNTUH accepts state-level entrance exams - Engineering, Agriculture & Medicine Common Entrance Test (EAMCET). This test is conducted under the guidelines of TSCHE. It is compulsory for students to have a valid TS EAMCET score to take admission. Candidates who qualify for this exam will be eligible to appear for EAMCET counselling process. No, the university does not have any other provision for admission to the BPharm course. Additionally, apart from this candidate must also fulfil the eligibility conditions. Hence, an applicant must have passed Class 12 with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with Mathematics/Biology to be eligible for admission.

JNTU Hyderabad Infrastructure
JNTU Hyderabad campus is spans over 89 acres of land. The institute facilitates its students with a library, auditorium, seminar/ conference halls, guest houses, hostels, canteen, internet and wifi, computer labs, bank & fire station. The following facilities are given by the JNTU Hyderabad:
Infrastructure: The college houses 40 lecture halls, four drawing halls, laboratories, a computer center, and a seminar hall with a seating capacity of 150 people. Each department has its library, and seminar hall in their building. A Powerhouse with a 140 KV generator connected to all buildings including hostels.
Hostels: The college presently has 4 hostel blocks, two for boys and two for girls. Hostels can accommodate about 820 boys and 575 girls. Hostels are provided with the best facilities for the daily needs of students.
Library: The college library consists of nearly 61,414 books, about 126 Journals, and 4000 online journals.
Sports and Recreation: The college has adequate facilities for sports and games. There are facilities for playing Cricket, Football, Table Tennis and other games. A running track is also available. There is a multi-gym inside the campus.
Other facilities: Other facilities include an Auditorium, Guest House, Bank, Staff Quarters, Canteen, and medical facilities with qualified doctors and dispense.

Choosing JNTU Hyderabad CSE is best in my opinion because it is in a good city, whereas NIT Andhra Pradesh is in a village.
JNTUH is well established, whereas NIT Andhra Pradesh is still in the process
Even the fee will be higher for NIT Andhra Pradesh than JNTUH.
