Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad is a Public Technological University located in Hyderabad. The institute was founded in 1972 as the first Technological University of India. To get admission to a four-year BTech course, candidates must fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria in the first place. Admission to BTech is entirely entrance-based. Candidates are offered admission based on a valid score obtained in TS EAMCET exam. This is a state-level entrance exam conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad on behalf of Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE). Further, candidates who qualify for this exam are called for TS EAMCET counselling process.
The admission is entrance-based. Aspirants with a valid TS ICET score become eligible for admission. JNTU Hyderabad campus is spans over 89 acres of land. The institute facilitates its students with a library, auditorium, seminar/ conference halls, guest houses, hostels, canteen, internet and wifi, computer labs, bank & fire station.
The following are the JNTU Hyderabad infrastructure details:
Infrastructure: The college houses 40 lecture halls, four drawing halls, laboratories, a computer center, and a seminar hall with a seating capacity of 150 people. Each department has its library, and seminar hall in their building. A Powerhouse with a 140 KV generator connected to all buildings including hostels.
Hostels: The college presently has 4 hostel blocks, two for boys and two for girls. Hostels can accommodate about 820 boys and 575 girls. Hostels are provided with the best facilities for the daily needs of students.
Library: The college library consists of nearly 61,414 books, about 126 Journals, and 4000 online journals.
Sports and Recreation: The college has adequate facilities for sports and games. There are facilities for playing Cricket, Football, Table Tennis and other games. A running track is also available. There is a multi-gym inside the campus.
Other facilities: Other facilities include an Auditorium, Guest House, Bank, Staff Quarters, Canteen, and medical facilities with qualified doctors and dispense.

To have M.Tech admission to the courses offered at JNTUH, candidates need to visit the official website of respective conducting bodies of national-level entrance exams-TS PGECET, or GATE, and fill the application form in online mode.
To get a seat at JNTUH, Hyderabad, for the BTech course and its various specialisations, students have to first attempt the Andhra Pradesh EAMCET entrance examination and then appear in its counselling process to be considered eligible for admission.
The JNTUH Andhra Pradesh EAMCET cutoff 2025 was released for various All India and Home State quota categories. For the General AI category, the last round cutoff ranged from 42097 to 51490 for the BTech in Electronics and Communication Engineering course. As per this range, Loyola Institute of Technology and Management (LITM) came out as the most competitive college for admission for this course.

JNTUH accepts state-level entrance exams - Engineering, Agriculture & Medicine Common Entrance Test (EAMCET). This test is conducted under the guidelines of TSCHE. It is compulsory for students to have a valid TS EAMCET score to take admission. Candidates who qualify for this exam will be eligible to appear for EAMCET counselling process. Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad (JNTUH) offers its flagship programme B.Tech for a duration of four years in 24 different specializations.
