TS ICET Tie-Breaking Criteria
In case two or more candidates land at an identical TS ICET score, Kakatiya University will allot the rank by following the below-mentioned chronology:
- Candidate securing more marks in section A of TS ICET 2025 will have the first preference for TS ICET rank allotment.
- In case of an equal score in section A, candidate who has secured more marks in section B will be preferred for allotment of TG ICET rank.
- If the tie still prevails, TGCHE will consider the age of the candidate. The one who is older as per the date of birth in the SSC certificate will get the preference for TS ICET 2025 rank allotment.
NOTE: Candidates belonging to reserved category and have a score equal to zero are allotted rank directly based on their age. Older candidates are placed higher in the TS ICET rank list.

Every year, with the release of TG ICET notification, TGCHE notifies the qualifying cutoff, also known as qualifying score. Candidates appearing for the TG ICET exam must meet the qualifying cutoff to participate in the counselling process. The qualifying cutoff has not changed from the previous session. Candidates have to score a minimum of 25 per cent marks if they belong to unreserved categories.
