LPU does not offer direct admission. However, admission to few courses is merit-based.  Aspirants scoring a 65% aggregate have a good chance of getting admission in LPU. Candidates seeking admission must visit the official website of the university to apply online. To apply for LPU, aspirants need to register for LPUNEST for admission to undergraduate and postgraduate courses. LPU admission to most of the courses is based on LPUNEST score. However, national-level entrance exam scores are also accepted for admission to BA LLB (Hons), MBA, BTech, etc. Candidates must complete Class 12 for UG courses and graduation for PG courses. The selection rounds are followed by counselling and document verification.

 Amity University offers two-year courses of MBA (General) and MBA (3 Continent). These courses are taught by the Amity Business School and Amity International Business School, respectively. Every year, the university grants annual scholarships based on a valid score in CAT/ MAT entrance exam. CT Group of Institutions (North Campus) offers two-year MBA programme divided into four semesters. All those aspirants who have passed Bachelors degree of a minimum of three years with at least 50% aggregate (45% aggregate for reserved category can apply for MBA.

The mode of NATA, Engineering College course admissions is online. Admission to various courses is based on entrance test scores and merit. The accepted entrance tests are UCEED, NID Entrance Exam,  NATA, JEE Main, etc. Students who wish to get admission must sit in the counselling round for the admissions. Direct admissions are not possible for many courses at PEC Chandigarh. 

Punjab Institute of Management and Technology has been rated 4 on placements.

The RIMT university's placement cell is said to be cooperative and has a decent placement rate. Further, the university claimed that it has recorded 100% placements during the recent placement drive. Apart from this, as per the Management NIRF reports 2024  the median package offered during RIMT University MBA placements 2023 stood at INR 4.57 LPA. However, to be very precise there is no such thing as a 100% placement guarantee, students can get placement opportunities from the university's side but, qualifying for the interview rounds, and skills & aptitude test are completely based on students, how they perform in that. Hence, the university is claiming that they offer 100% placements to their MBA students but, to get a job students must prepare themselves.
