AIPMT 2014: How to prepare in the last 15 days before the exam

AIPMT (All India Pre Medical Test) 2014 is just round the corner with not even a month left for the exam to be held.

Your preparation tactics for the exam in these days play an important role in determining your scores in the exam.  In fact, according to experts, at this final hour, students shouldn’t adopt a preparation strategy but a revision strategy.

To help you prepare effectively and efficiently in the last two weeks, here are some expert tips from Shailendra Maheshwari, Director of Academics for AIPMT 2014 at Career Point, Kota.

According to him, at this stage students should make optimum use of NCERT Books, class notes, sheets or study material of coaching institutes or some renowned publishers.

Students can arrange the study material on their own or can get it through DLP programs of reputed institutes like Career Point. Moreover nowadays online material and test series are also available to students at nominal rates.

Preparation strategy for last two weeks:

  1. Just read the class notes which you have prepared during classroom sessions
  2. Read the important derivation carefully just to understand the concept
  3. Remember different assumptions and conditions associated with different formula
  4. Don’t waste time in writing the theoretical statements on paper
  5. Revise the entire syllabus with a vision. Don’t read entire theory again and again.
  6. Practice as much questions as you can and try to understand the solution of those who you have attempted wrong.
  7. This is a game of speed and accuracy and examination temperament so more practice leads to success.
