AIPMT 2014: Time management & do’s and don’ts for the exam
AIPMT is all set to commence on May 4, 2014 and the exam would encompass questions from the syllabus of Class 11th and 12th and various other state boards.
The three hour question paper will be spread over three parts - Physics, Chemistry and Biology and will have around 180 multiple choice questions(45 questions) altogether from these subjects.

| First solve all those questions in which you are confident and score well |
Don’t jump here and there sequentially solve easy questions first |
| Fill the answer in case if you have done ample questions |
Don’t be in too much hurry while filing the answer as one mistake of your leads to one wrong answer |
| First complete all those questions which are marked right, then go for circle one then at last crossed one |
Don’t waste too much of time on one question. In case of lengthy calculations first use approx. method |
Top 10 strategies to adopt on the exam day and time management between the different sections of the paper:
- Scrutinize the test paper first
- Mark the questions which you feel very easy, easy and at last difficult as per your understanding
- Solve the paper sequentially with the most easy first and then increase the difficulty level
- Don’t waste too much of time on any single question
- Don’t be emotional or sentimental towards a question while solving
- For Pre-Medical students they may complete the bio portion first so as to save time for Chemistry and Physics. Generally the level of difficulty for Bio students are Biology, Chemistry and then Physics
- Time can be managed by solving easy questions first and saving sometime for more difficult questions in sequential manner.
- Be confident, calm and energetic
- Don’t take panic in any case
- You should have faith in yourself and your preparation
