Candidate must pass full-time regular course in MBBS / BHMS / BAMS / BUMS / BDS / Master's degree in pharmacy (M. Pharm.)/ M.A/ M.Sc (in Sociology, Economics, Anthropology, Geography, Rural Development, Psychology, Microbiology, Physiology, Botany, Zoology, Biotechnology, Development Studies) / M.Sc-Nursing) from any recognised university. The Upper age limit is 45 years (as on 31st December 2023).

Vidyasagar University accepts national-level entrance exams such as MAT/ CAT/ XAT/ ATMA/ CMAT, etc., for admission to its MBA programme. MBA is offered via the university’s affiliated colleges as well. Candidates must qualify the eligibility criteria too, i.e., bachelor's degree with 45% aggregate. Interested candidates must fill out the online/offline application form and appear for the group discussion/ personal interview conducted by the university. MBA is also offered via the affiliating colleges of Vidyasagar University.
