This college has good academics in postgraduate education for community medicine.

Placements: This college provides government jobs in public health and administration, health care in the non-government organisation, placements in medical education services, the job for statistical expertise in the various commercial stream, managerial posts in health care set up, specialisation in epidemiology, and outbreak investigation.

Infrastructure: This college has a clean and hygienic environment in the hostel. The food quality served is good, but has a meal system. The college canteen is very cheap as it is a subsidiary service. The garage area is provided to park vehicles up to 6:00 PM. Two-wheelers can be parked in hostel premises round the clock. Indoor sports are also provided.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful in our college. The pass percentage is 50%. The course curriculum is relevant. It is prepared according to CBME guidelines of the National Medical Commission. Research works are emphasised. The dissertation has to submit to the university during its tenure. Mid-term and mock final examinations are being conducted.

M.Sc.	The candidate must have passed full-time regular course in B.Sc. (Hons.) in Food and Nutrition / Dietetics / Food Science / Biochemistry / Physiology / Food Technology OR B. Sc. in Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics with minimum mentioned marks in aggregate from any recognized university. Note: Candidates passing out the above courses before 2018 are not eligible.
MD	Candidate must have completed MBBS degree or provisional MBBS pass certificate which is recognized as per the provisions of the NMC Act, 2019 and the repealed Indian Medical Council Act 1956. Candidate should also possess a permanent or provisional registration certificate of MBBS qualification issued by the NMC/ the erstwhile Medical Council of India or State Medical Council. Candidate must have completed one year of internship or are likely to complete the internship on or before 31st March 2023.
PG Diploma	Candidate must have completed MBBS degree or provisional MBBS pass certificate which is recognized as per the provisions of the NMC Act, 2019 and the repealed Indian Medical Council Act 1956.
