Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will be releasing the CBSE 10th, 12th date sheet 2022 for Term 1 exams soon on the official website. The board is all set to conduct the CBSE Board Exams 2022 in two phases from this year– Term 1 Examination and Term 2. Term 1 Examinations would be conducted in November/December 2021 while the Term 2 examinations are scheduled for March/April 2022. The board has decided to make these changes due to the uncertainty caused by the Covid-19 pandemic since last two years.

Q: Will CBSE 10th, 12th Term 1 Exams 2022 scheduled in November be conducted online or offline?
A: As per the board, decision to conduct the examination online or offline would be taken on the basis of the prevailing pandemic situation in the country at that time. At present, with the Covid-19 cases very much under control and schools opening almost everywhere in the country, it is highly likely that the CBSE Board Exams 2022 Term 1 would be conducted in physical mode at the schools.
Q: Would the Term 1 Exams be conducted in schools or at examination centres?
A: The Term 1 board examinations will be conducted by CBSE at own schools and not at exam centres.
Q: Who would prepare the question paper for Term 1 CBSE Board Exams 2022?
A: CBSE will prepare the CBSE 10
th, 12
th question papers for the Term 1 examinations.
Q: What is the changed CBSE exam pattern 2022 for term 1?
A: CBSE Term 1 examinations would consists of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ). Depending on the subject, the question papers would have set number of questions. The paper would be of 2 hour duration and students would be required to fill the OMR sheets which would be provided by the board to the schools.
Q: How many marks would the paper be of?
A: This year, the CBSE Board Exams 2022 for Class 10 and 12 have been divided in two terms. Accordingly, both Term 1 and Term 2 will be of marks equal to the theory paper. For example, if the theory paper of a subject is of 70 marks, then Term 1 would be of 35 marks and Term 2 would be of 35 marks.
Q: Would Term 1 Marks be added to the final CBSE Board Result 2022?
A: Yes. Term 1 and Term 2 marks would be clubbed for final CBSE Board Result 2022 for class 10 and 12.
Q: Would Term 1 and Term 2 have equal weight of marks?
A: The exact distribution of marks would depend on the nature of the examination. If Term 1 is conducted offline and term 2 is conducted online, then Term 1 would carry more weightage. Similarly, if Term 1 is online but Term 2 is offline, then Term 2 would carry more weight. Also, in case both are conducted offline but Term 2 is conducted in subjective pattern, equal weight. The final decision would be taken by the board depending on the situation and the nature of the examination. Students, however, may note that both examinations would be considered.
Q: Would the answer sheets be sent to CBSE?
A: The board has not yet clarified or taken a decision on whether the OMR sheets would be sent to the board or not. The instructions would be shared with the school depending on whether the exams are being conducted online or offline.
Q: Would the registration be conducted again for Term 2 CBSE Board exams 2022?
A: No. The list of students has been prepared by the schools and shared with the board. There would be no re-registration for the CBSE Board Exams 2022. The fees has been taken and submitted.
