CBSE Class 10 2026 Exam Day Live Updates: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is conducting the CBSE 10th 2026 exam from February 17. CBSE Class 10th Exam Analysis 2026 Live Updates: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is conducting the CBSE Class 10 board exam 2026 from February 17 in a single shift from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM. The exam is being conducted across 8,074 centres. Around 25 lakh candidates are appearing for the exam. Out of which 14 lakh are boys and 10.9 lakh are girls.
Recently, the board has issued CBSE 10th Class exam day guidelines 2026. According to the guidelines, students are required to reach their examination centres on or before 10 am. The exam starts at 10.30 am. The entry in the examination centre starts from 9 am. The entry gate closes at 10 pm. Those reaching late are not allowed to appear for the exam. Students should carry the original copy of their admit cards while appearing for the exam.

CBSE Class 10 Maths Exam Analysis 2026
CBSE Class 10th Maths paper 2026 was conducted on February 17 in a single shift. The Maths paper carried topics such as Polynomials, Quadratic Equations, Arithmetic Progressions, Triangles, Circles, Trigonometry, Coordinate Geometry, Statistics. The paper balanced between basics and thinking-based questions. 5-mark section had mostly straightforward questions, with one tricky circles problem. The short-answer section was balanced, with 3-mark questions of moderate difficulty and 2-mark questions were easy and direct. The paper followed a familiar structure. The Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQs) were notably lengthy. These required students to invest significant time in analysis and calculation. The case study questions were direct and clear. CBSE Class 10 Exam Day Guidelines 2026
Some of the important guidelines related to CBSE 10th Board exams 2026 are given below.
- The doors of the examination hall will open 45 minutes before the exam time
- Students take their seats 30 minutes before the beginning of the exam
- Those reaching late will not be allowed to enter the exam hall
- Students must bring pen, pencil and ink
- Electronics items are not allowed inside the exam hall
- Students need to sit as per the roll numbers
- Candidates are not allowed to leave the exam hall before the completion of the test
