CBSE Practical Exams 2021: Schools affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education are directed by the board to update the list of teachers available as examiners Online Affiliated School Information System by April 10, 2021 (OASIS). According to the reports, the order was issued by the board considering that a shortage of teachers was observed as examiners for the Class 12 CBSE Practical examinations. Later it was pointed out by the Board that many of the schools are yet to upload the complete list of teachers in the OASIS.
It is advised to the CBSE affiliated schools to fill the list on or before the deadline. In case they fail to do so, the following actions are expected to be taken against them:
- Following the Affiliation By-Laws and Examination Bye-Laws, CBSE will take necessary action.
- Principals of the schools would be imposed of a personal penalty of Rs. 50,000.
- CBSE will not declare the board's result.
- Practical conducted by an examiner and not appointed by the CBSE will be cancelled.
- Re-conduction of the practical exams of these candidates under Boardโs supervision.
A circular released by CBSE on April 3, 2021, reads, โAll the principals are directed to update teachersโ data in the OASIS within schedule. CBSE will compare both the data before updation and after updation.โ Extending its warning further, CBSE also stated that non-compliance of instructions will invite actions such as non-declaration of board results for the school, โa personal penalty of Rs 50,000 on the principalโ of the respective school.
