ICSE Results 2020: Assessment scheme for cancelled 10th 12th Board Exams to release soon

Both CBSE and CISCE informed the Supreme Court that the remaining CBSE 10th 12th Board Exams 2020, ICSE Board Exams 2020 and ISC Board Exams 2020 stand cancelled after a group of parents filed a plea demanding the cancellation of the pending CBSE Board Exams 2020 and CISCE Board Exams 2020 amid COVID-19 pandemic outbreak.

Council for Indian School Certificate Examination (CISCE) is expected to release an assessment scheme for cancelled ISC and ICSE exam papers soon. On June 26, the Council told Supreme Court that it will come up with an averaging formula for remaining subjects of ICSE Board Exams 2020 and ISC Board Exams 2020 and will upload the same on its website in a week. The assessment scheme will be used to release ICSE Results 2020 and ISC Results 2020.

While CBSE submitted its assessment scheme for cancelled CBSE 10thand CBSE 12th papers and got it approved by the court. CISCE informed the court that its affidavit was similar to the one submitted by CBSE however, the assessment plan to release ICSE Results 2020 and ISC Results 2020 would be different. CISCE said that it will upload the revised assessment scheme on its website within a week.

The Council scheduled exam for pending ICSE Board Exams 2020 and ISC Board Exams 2020 from July 1 to July 14. It later announced that students will get the option to skip the exams and be marked on the basis of their performance in pre-board exams or internal assessment.

Meanwhile, CBSE is using an assessment scheme where students will be marked on the basis of highest scoring subject for which the exams have already been concluded to release CBSE Class 10 Results 2020 and CBSE Class 12 Results 2020.

CBSE and CISCE, both, stated that CBSE 10th Results 2020, CBSE 12th Results 2020, ICSE Results 2020 and ISC Results 2020 will be released by July 15.
