JAC Board will not be conducting offline examinations for classes except 10 and 12. Read to know more.

The Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) will be conducting the examinations offline for classes 10 and 12 offline, as directed by the state government. The state government has also asked the board to not conduct offline examinations for classes except 10 and 12. The JAC 10th and JAC 12th exams 2021 will be conducted from May 4 to May 21, 2021. The time table for the same was released on February 4, 2021.

The schools are instructed to continue conducting online classes for the students even after the offline class resume for the students from March 1, 2021. Students appearing for the Jharkhand board examinations and the other examinations will be exempted from the restrictions enforced on the containment zones in the state. The JAC admit cards will be considered as the entry pass outside the containment zones for the students. 

The schools in Jharkhand will be reopening from March 1 for the students from class 8 and above and the students will be allowed to enter the school premises only with the consent of the parents. 

Students from classes 1 to 7 to be promoted

The students from classes 1 to 7 will also be promoted to the next grade without conducting, as per a recent decision taken by the state board officials. The department will be issuing a notification regarding the same across the schools in the state soon.
