Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav released over ₹300 crore in scholarships to benefit more than 52 lakh students across the state. Funds were directly credited into students’ bank accounts during a state-level event held at Samatva Bhavan in Bhopal.
Amount was disbursed under the Integrated Scholarship Mission, which brings together various student aid programmes run by six state departments — including School Education, Tribal Welfare, Minority Welfare and Social Justice.

Addressing the event, Chief Minister Yadav said the government’s focus is on extending financial assistance before the academic year progresses so that students can use it for books, uniforms and other essentials.
“Our government will not allow financial hardship to stop a child from studying. Every eligible student will receive support,” Yadav said.
Chief Minister added that online disbursement mechanism has made the process more transparent and efficient, ensuring funds reach beneficiaries on time.
Officials from the School Education Department said the early release of scholarship funds this year is expected to help students plan better and reduce dropouts, particularly in rural and tribal regions.
