Maharashtra HSC exams will now be held by the end of May and Mah SSC exams in June.
Maharashtra Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) has postponed the Mah HSC, SSC board exams 2021 amid surge in COVID cases in the state. The class 12 or HSC exams will now be held by the end of May and the class 10 or SSC exams in June, informed state School Education Minister Varsha Gaikwad.
The exact dates will be announced after assessing the situation further. The new exam schedule will be made available on the official website.
"The present circumstances are not conducive for holding exams. Your health is our priority," Gaikwad said via Twitter.
The board took the decision for the postponement of the Mah SSC, HSC exams 2021 based on consultations with various stakeholders such as students, teachers, parents, elected representatives, academicians, and tech giants.
