This year, approximately 7,06,475 students will appear for the MP Board Class 12 exams 2025, while over 9,53,777 students will take the MP Board Class 10 exams 2025, totaling 16,60,252 students across 3,887 exam centers in the state. To ensure smooth and fair exams, the board has issued important guidelines and introduced new initiatives.
Unique 'Honesty Box' Initiative for Cheating Prevention
To maintain exam integrity and prevent cheating, MPBSE has launched an innovative initiative called the "Honesty Box." A metal box will be placed outside each exam center where students can voluntarily drop any cheating materials, such as guides or small notes, before entering the exam hall.
The Honesty Box will display a clear message explaining its purpose. If a student is caught with such materials inside the exam hall, strict action will be taken as per the board’s exam rules. This initiative is aimed at promoting self-discipline and a fair examination environment.
Strict Guidelines for Exam Day
The MPBSE has issued comprehensive guidelines to ensure smooth and disciplined conduct of the exams:
- Arrive on Time: Students must reach the exam center by 8 AM and enter the exam hall 30 minutes before the exam begins to avoid last-minute rush and ensure proper seating.
- Carry Required Items: Students must bring their admit card, a transparent water bottle, and a transparent box for their pens and stationery.
- Admit Card QR Code: The QR code on the admit card will be scanned at the exam center for easy verification.
- Leave Unwanted Materials Outside: Books, mobile phones, and any other unauthorized materials should be placed in the box provided outside the exam hall. Students must ensure they do not carry anything inside the examination hall that could disrupt the process.
- Answer Sheet Details: Students are instructed to carefully fill in the necessary details on the first page of the answer sheet, including their name, roll number, and subject code.
- OMR Sheet: When filling in the OMR sheet, students should use a black or blue ballpoint pen and carefully mark the required fields.
- Final Check: Before submitting the answer sheet, students should thoroughly check if any pages are missing and report any issues immediately to the examiner.
Preventing Cheating: Flying Squads and Signal Jammers
To ensure the integrity of the examination process, flying squads will monitor sensitive exam centers, inspecting them between 9 AM and 12 PM. These teams will ensure that no malpractice takes place and that the guidelines are strictly followed.
Additionally, some exam centers will be equipped with signal jammers to block unauthorized communication devices and prevent cheating.
Disciplinary Action for Violations
The MPBSE has warned that strict action will be taken against students found violating the exam rules, including the use of unauthorized materials, unfair means, or cheating.
This year, the board has introduced new measures, such as closely monitoring exam centers with private candidates, to ensure that exams are conducted fairly and with utmost transparency.
Fair and Transparent Examination Process
With strict measures in place, the Madhya Pradesh Board Exams 2025 are set to provide a fair and transparent environment for over 16 lakh students. The introduction of the Honesty Box, flying squads, and the scanning of admit card QR codes are all part of the board’s efforts to make the exam process more organized and secure. Students are urged to follow all guidelines and instructions carefully to avoid any disruptions and ensure a smooth examination experience.
