NIOS 10th exams cancelled, Class 12 exams postponed amid COVID second wave

NIOS Class 12 examinations have been postponed until further notice while Class 10 exams have been cancelled. Read to know more.

With India reeling under the second wave of COVID, many boards have cancelled or postponed their board examinations. Joining the bandwagon is NIOS, which has decided to cancel the NIOS Class 10 examinations, while the NIOS Class 12 examinations have been postponed until further notice. The NIOS 10th, 12th examinations were scheduled to be conducted in June after they were delayed from the original month of conduct, i.e, March-April. 

According to the information provided by the NIOS officials, suitable criteria will be set for the assessment and preparation of NIOS 10th Result 2021. Students who are not satisfied with the assessment method will however be given a chance to appear for the public exams or the on-demand exams when the situation improves.

Students must keep visiting the official website of NIOS for such updates. The revised NIOS 12th date sheet will be uploaded here as soon as it is released. NIOS will be making the announcement regarding the same after reviewing the COVID situation on June 20, 2021.
