NIOS Admissions (Block-I) begin for classes 10, 12, apply now

The National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) has commenced with its admissions for Block-I for classes 10 ^th and 12 ^th . The NIOS Admissions 2020 window is open from March 16 to July 31, 2020, without late fee. However, all the eligible students would be able to register for the same, with a late fee, until September 15, 2020. The NIOS exams for Block-I will be conducted in April/May.

Eligibility Criteria

NIOS Class 10 Eligibility

To be able to apply for NIOS Class 10 admissions, students must fulfil the eligibility criteria mentioned below:

Age: Minimum age of a student should be 14 years as on July 31.

Education:  A learner giving a self-certificate  "I have studied enough to be able to pursue secondary course" is also eligible for admission. 

A learner who had studies at the secondary level can also seek NIOS admission to complete the course or to improve the performance.

NIOS Class 12 Eligibility

For NIOS Class 12 admissions, aspirants must go through the eligibility criteria carefully before applying.

Age: A Learner should be 15 years of age to be able to take admission in NIOS for Class 12.

Education: The learner must have passed the Secondary course from a recognised board.

NIOS Admissions for Block-I: How to apply

1. Visit the admission portal of NIOS- sdmis.nios.ac.in/
2. Navigate to the registration link.
3. Fill in all the required details.
4. Upload all the supporting documents.
5. Submit your form and keep a copy of the same for future references.
