NTA has allowed all students appearing for Class 12 board exams in May to pick a date to avoid JEE Main Clash with CBSE Class 12 examinations.
National Testing Agency (NTA) has allowed the students who will be appearing for the board exams this year to pick a date for JEE May exam. This is to avoid JEE Main Clash with CBSE Class 12 exams 2021. The Agency has released an official notification for the same on the official site of NTA JEE on jeemain.nta.nic.in.
According to the notification, the decision to pick date was taken keeping in view the interest of the candidates and to avoid any clash between the two examinations. The application form for JEE Main exam would release on May 3 and the last date to submit the completely filled form for JEE May exam is May 12, 2021. Candidates will have to inform the NTA about their class 12 roll number and the name of the board within this time frame.
The candidates who will be appearing for the Class 12 Board examination, and also JEE Main exam, will have to provide the information under βWhether appearing for Board examination on any of the dates May 24, 25, 26, 27, and 28, 2021β and select the date in their online application form so that there is no clash of the exam dates.
CBSE will conduct the CBSE 12th board exams 2021 between May 4 and June 11. Meanwhile, NTA has released the JEE Main Admit Card 2021 for the February session. It is important for all candidates to take a printout of admit card and carry it on the exam day. The JEE Main examination would be conducted on February 23, 24, 25, and 26, 2021 in two shifts. Around 6.60 lakh candidates have reportedly registered for the exam.
