SAMS Odisha UG Admissions 2025: The Student Academic Management System (SAMS) Odisha has commenced the college reporting process. Earlier, it released the second provisional seat allotment list for undergraduate (UG) admissions 2025. Candidates can check their seat allotment status on the official website: degree.samsodisha.gov.in. The SAMS Odisha UG Admissions 2025 allotment results, initially scheduled to be released at 11 AM were rescheduled to 7 PM on June 22, 2025.
SAMS Odisha UG Admissions 2025: What Candidates Need to Do?
Candidates who have been allotted a seat in the second round must choose one of the following options by June 25:
- Freeze: Select this option to accept the allotted seat. Candidates will also need to pay the seat acceptance fee to confirm admission.
- Float: Retain the allotted seat but continue to be considered for higher preference options in future rounds.
- Slide: Reject the current allotment and opt to participate in the next round for a better seat.
Document Verification Dates
Candidates who choose to freeze or float their seats must report to the allotted college for document verification between June 23 and June 25. Those who fail to report within the given timeline may lose their seat.

- First round of allotment: June 12
- Freeze/Float/Slide window (Round 1): June 12 to 17
- College reporting (Round 1): June 13, 16, 17
- Second round of allotment: June 22
- Freeze/Float/Slide window (Round 2): June 22 to 25
- College reporting (Round 2): June 23 to 25
- Third round of allotment: July 1
- Payment of fees (Round 3): July 1 to 4
- College reporting (Round 3): July 2 to 4
- Waiting list online reporting: July 7 to 10
- Commencement of UG classes: July 10
- Publication of merit-based waiting list: July 12
- Fee payment for selected waitlisted applicants (Round 4): July 14 to 15
Reservation for SEBC Candidates
As per the Government of Odisha, 11.25% of UG seats will be reserved for candidates from the Socially and Educationally Backward Classes (SEBC).
