Tamil Nadu Board Exam 2025: The Tamil Nadu Higher Secondary Board exams commenced on March 3, marking the beginning of an important academic milestone for more than eight lakh students across the state. The Tamil Nadu Plus Two exams 2025, which are scheduled to take place between March 3 and March 25, are being conducted at 3,316 examination centres.
District-wise Student Enrollment
In several key districts, the number of students appearing for the exams is substantial. According to reports:
- Tirunelveli: 19,816 students
- Tenkasi: 16,961 students
- Kanniyakumari: 22,461 students
- Thoothukudi: 19,496 students
These districts have been preparing extensively to ensure smooth conduction of exams, with arrangements made for both exam centers and transportation for students.
Governor’s Encouragement for Students
On the first day of the exams, Governor R N Ravi took to social media to offer his best wishes to all students appearing for the Plus Two exams. He urged students to approach their exams with calm and confidence. The Governor also offered practical advice:
- "Reach the examination center well ahead of time."
- "Read each question carefully and start with the ones you find easiest."
- "If a question feels challenging, take a few deep breaths and stay composed."
His message reinforced the importance of a clear mind in facing the exams.
School Education Minister Meets Students in Nagapattinam
The School Education Minister Anbil Mahesh Poyyamozhi also took time to encourage students in Nagapattinam. Minister Poyyamozhi visited the Natarajan Dhamayanthi Higher Secondary School, which was functioning as an exam center, and met with students who were about to write their exams.
Speaking to the media, the Minister said, “We met and encouraged the students who are going to write the examination. Students from nearby schools were brought to the exam center in a special bus, and we made sure to wish them the best. I urge students to approach the exams with joy and confidence."
Upcoming TN Board Exams 2025 Class 11, 10
Along with the Plus Two exams, Class 11 exams are scheduled to take place between March 5 and March 27, with the Class 10 (SSLC) exams set to begin on March 28. The Tamil Nadu state government has emphasized the importance of maintaining a safe, secure, and calm environment for all students throughout this examination period.
