JEE Main 2026 Registration Live: NTA Form at jeemain.nta.nic.in, Exam Dates Announced, Latest Updates

JEE Main registration 2026 will begin anytime soon. As such, the officials have not yet made any update or announcement regarding the JEE Mains 2026 application dates. Stay tuned for updates.

The JEE Main 2026 exam pattern for B.Tech/B.E can be checked below -

• time duration - 3 hours
• total questions- 90 questions: 30 from each section Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics
• candidates must attempt 75 marks in total
• marking scheme - for every correct answer, 4 marks are awarded and for -1 mark for incorrect response

NTA has issued an official notification for candidates mentioning to update details on their Aadhar card. Any mismatch in name, date of birth, or gender can cause delay in verification. Hence, applicants are advised to cross-check their information carefully before applying.

The National Testing Agency will release eligibility condition along with JEE Main 2026 information brochure soon. Candidates can check JEE Mains 2026 eligibility below -

• Must have passed class 12 exam in 2024/2025 or are appearing in 2026
• No minimum marks required in class 12th
• No age limit
• For Paper 1 (BE/BTech), candidates must have Physics and Maths in Class 12 or any other relevant
• For Paper 2A (BArch), candidates must have Physics, Chemistry, and Maths in Class 12.
• For Paper 2B (BPlan), candidates must have Maths in Class 12

A total of 13.11 lakh candidates registered for the JEE Main 2025 session 1, and around 12.58 lakh candidates appeared.

As per the latest notification, NTA has planned to increase number of JEE Mains exam cities/centres across India and abroad.

Candidates can apply for JEE Mains 2026 at jeemain.nta.nic.in.

No, there is no age limit to apply for JEE Mains 2026. However, a candidate can apply within three consecutive years from passing their qualifying examination. 

The JEE Main 2026 session 2 exam dates are April 1 to April 10.

Candidates can follow the steps below to apply -

• Visit the official website and register under "New Candidate Registration"
• Fill out the required details and create a password of your choice
• After successful registration, candidates will receive registration number and password on their registered email ID and mobile number 
• Fill rest of the details and upload the documents
• Make the payment and keep a copy for future reference
