The Chief Minister directed to expedite the construction of Atal Residential Schools in all 18 divisions.

Uttar Pradesh schools to include Yoga and sports as as part of their curriculum, which will be in accordance with the National Policy on Education (NEP) 2020. During a meeting of UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath with state government officials decision has been taken to speed up the work in relation to the posting of school principals, academic and non-academic personnel and scheduling of courses.

As per the information shared through official Twitter handle of CM Yogi Adityanath, the selection of eligible persons should be ensured with complete transparency.

Curriculum may be prescribed in accordance with the National Policy on Education, 2020. Yoga and sports should be specially included in the curriculum. It has also been decided under the infrastructure facilities, arrangements for playground and skill development should also be ensured. “Let this school be such a model, which inspires other people too,” stated a statement by UP CM.

Committees should be formed at the state, divisional and district level to monitor the operation of the school.

Atal Residential Schools in all 18 divisions

Chief Minister also observed the presentation regarding the standard operating procedure of Atal Residential Schools at his official residence. The Chief Minister directed to expedite the construction of Atal Residential Schools in all 18 divisions.

The architectural style of Atal residential schools and hostel buildings should be according to Indian philosophy and culture, it should be excellent and vibrant.

Modern technology, design and facilities should be incorporated in its construction.

Arrangements should be ensured in the school building according to the needs of the children of laborers and orphan children, so that by evaluating the ability, ability and skill of the children, education can be given according to their interest.
