Schools have also asked to collect a centre fee of ₹25 per candidate and deposit it with the respective centre secretary before the Class 12 Board examinations.
West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education has published detailed fee structure for enrolment of students in the Higher Secondary 2026 examinations under semester system. According to notification, each candidate will have to pay an enrolment fee of ₹155 for the semester, along with a form-processing charge of ₹30 and a convenience fee of ₹30.
Schools have also been directed to collect a centre fee of ₹25 per candidate and deposit it with the respective centre secretary before the examinations.
Council has clarified that out of ₹215 collected from each student, ₹190 will be remitted to board, while ₹25 will remain with school as centre grant. Fee schedule also includes provisions for late submission, with a fine of ₹150 per candidate for institutions forwarding enrolment details beyond the stipulated deadline.
For supplementary examinations, council has fixed a fee of ₹50 per paper, in addition to centre grant of ₹25 for each paper.
WBCHSE has asked schools to follow prescribed fee structure and ensure that all components are collected and deposited within timelines mentioned in schedule.
