IIM Trichy begins first batch of supply chain management course
IIM Trichy has begun the first batch of the Postgraduate Certificate programme in Supply Chain Management (PGCSCM).
Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Trichy has begun the first batch of the Postgraduate certificate programme in supply chain management (PGCSCM) on Monday; i.e. September 28, 2020. The one-year programme will be offered in device-to-device mode and covers a focused set of relevant and contemporary topics in supply chain management. The course has been designed in order to enhance the capabilities of supply chain professionals to achieve performance excellence.
The strategic human resource management for executives is designed to help participants understand how to operationalise and strategically align different functional dimensions of human resource management to organizational objectives.
The course was inaugurated virtually in the august presence of Rakesh Sinha, Founder and CEO, Reflexive Supply Chain Solutions. During the event, he stressed on the need for a practical approach while talking about supply chain problems.
Indian Institute of Management - Trichy (IIM-Trichy) had earlier announced that it is planning to conduct online classes for its Executive MBA and regular MBA programmes in the upcoming semester, in view of the lockdown restrictions.
'The institute is also chalking out ways to conduct online examination for students under remote proctoring and for preparing e-books. The e-learning centers of the institute will be fully functional in the next two weeks tentatively to start the executive programme (PGPBM). The institute is preparing to take up online classes if required for regular PGPM and PGPM-HR incoming batches. The PGPM-HR programme will be launched by the Institute for the first time this academic year,’ Upam Pushpak Makhecha, Chairperson, Media Relations, had said.
