The AMU 2020 admission application forms are expected to be released in February 2020.

The Aligarh Muslim University(AMU) will soon begin with its admission process for the 2020-21 academic session. AMU has already released the examination schedule for AMU 2020 admissions. The entrance examinations are scheduled to begin from April 12, 2019. The AMU 2020 admission application forms are expected to be released in February 2020 on the official website- To apply for the AMU admissions 2020, the candidates have to register first and then fill details in the application form.

Admission in Undergraduate medical courses in the University is done through the scores of NEET, while for the MTech courses, it is through the GATE score. The candidates who do not have a valid GATE score need to appear for the departmental test which is also used for filling seats of other programmes. The programmes include BVoc, MA, BA (Hons), MSc, etc.

The University also accepts students on the basis of the marks of the qualifying examination. It is used for admissions in Post MA Diploma, PG Diploma in Journalism, PG Diploma in Public Relations, Pre-MFA, PG Diploma in Taxation, PG Diploma in Electronic Data Processing and Machine operation, among others.

Established in 1920, Aligarh Muslim University is spread over 467.6 hectares in Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh. The varsity, currently, is offering more than 300 courses in undergraduate, postgraduate and higher education.
